It tells the story of their wives, and their children and their nations and their wars, and finally, what brings them all together in a time of such darkness in the world they have to be reminded what family really is and who is loyal to who. Betrayals come to life; romance springs; births, deaths, murder, and love.

When coming to the fortress of the Monet's--and infamous Irish family--Jay Stromata didn't expect what he got. He didn't expect to find conspiracies, manipulation, incest, domestic abuse, cult mindset, and a string of poisonings. Jay also didn't expect to meet friends that would stick closer than his own family ever did. Klaus, the oldest and rejected son; Eleanor, the quiet, deaf sister who knows everything and says almost nothing; and Salem, the worldly, painful one that's only goal in life is to rip her family and what it stands for to spreads.
